Venue and Transportation

The Eleventh International Conference on Engineering Education for Sustainable Development (EESD 2023) will be hosted by Colorado State University located in the city of Fort Collins, Colorado. Sessions will be held at the Hilton Hotel. Fort Collins is located about 60 miles (100 kilometers) north of Denver, Colorado. The city is situated at the base of the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains at an altitude of 4980 feet above sea level (1525 meters). Fort Collins is a city of 186,000 inhabitants (2020). Colorado State University was established as part of the Land Grant Colleges in 1870. The University currently has an undergraduate and graduate student population of about 35,000.

The iconic Denver International Airport (DEN) is located east of the city of Denver and is a major U.S. airport. International carriers operating at Denver International Airport include Lufthansa, British Airways, Air France, Aeromexico, and Icelandair as well as U.S. carriers United Airlines, American Airlines, Delta Airlines and regional airlines including Southwest Airlines, Frontier Airlines and Jet Blue. Shuttle service to and from Denver International Airport and multiple stopping points in Fort Collins is available through Groome Transportation. Rental cars may also be arranged from multiple vendors at the airport.
